The critical theory I will be using is Psychoanalytic criticism. I chose The Great Gatsby. I was trying to decide between Feminism, Marxism, and Psychoanalytic. For the lens I am using, I will look at the character's romantic relationships with one another, and the defective intimacy problems they hold.
