First of all..

Holy crap (can I say crap?) that's a Basquiat!

Hi everyone, I'm Leslie.

I'm 21, living at home, going to school full time, and working at the GAP. Basically, I fold and steam clothes, dress mannequins, and pick Wetzel's Pretzels pieces up off the floor. I love my job and I plan on staying with the company for a very long time.

I graudated from MVHS in 2005 and I've been at MSJC since then. I currently have three Associates degrees from MSJC - AA's in Social Behavioral Science and Humanities and an AS in Mathematics Science. This is the last class I need to complete my AA Liberal Arts degree as well. I will be transferring to UCR for the Fall 2010 quarter as an Art History major with a concentration in Administrative Studies and probably a minor in Photography.

I've been with my boyfriend for almost a year and a half and he is currently at the Albertson's across the street picking up things to make breakfast. I think we're having pancakes, eggs, and fresh fruit this morning :) He lives in Orange County, and I'm out here once or twice a week which makes online classes ideal for me.

Like Amy I'm beyond a night owl and I do my best work after 9 pm or so. I think the world is much more interesting at night.

I'm very big into design and aesthetics. I rip apart and redesign my room about every 6 months or so. I'm kind of a museum junkie and I've made several day trips to San Francisco just to check out an exhibit at the SFMOMA or the Legion of Honor. I love going to shows and I have been known to wait in line for 24+ hours to get myself a good spot. I also love the beach. When I'm not in school or at work, I try to get to the beach at least once a week. I used to have a season pass to Magic Mountain and I'm working on getting a pass to Disneyland. Disneyland is probably my favorite place in the world. I'm very much a hopeless romantic.

I love the Great Gatsby. I LOVE Oscar Wilde. I actually kind of can't stand most Brit Lit but that's ok. I've never read the Lord of the Rings books and as such I refuse to see the movies. My boyfriend is really getting me into Heinlein and Gibson. I've never liked science fiction but I'm becoming less afraid of admitting that I kind of love it now.

Hmm, I'm trying to decide what else is interesting enough to share so here's a random paragraph of things about me.
My favorite movies are Toy Story and Kill Bill. My favorite color is green. I can only use Colgate Classic toothpaste. Anything else makes me sick. I love baseball more than any other sport except Olympic swimming. I have 7 tattoos and immediate plans for 2 more, baring cash flow issues. I drive a minivan. I have an old school Lite Brite in my room that I use as a night light. I hate capital letters because I think they look out of place. I'm left handed, but I golf with my right. I love Paula Dean. I'd much rather watch the History Channel than SYTCYD or American Idol.

I'm not actually very big into blogging because I don't like being so exposed but whatever.
